Main Duties and Responsibilities:
-Prepare all monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required.
-Work with the external auditors to prepare the Annual Local Government Finance Report (LOGER/AFR) F.S. 218.32 (d).
-Provide assistance to an external organization in the preparation of the annual Solid Waste Financial Assurance Report, which provides cost adjustments as necessary. FAC 62-701.630(4) (a) – F.P.R.
-Assist an external organization in the Annual Arbitrage calculation.
-Work with an outside bond assurance company in the preparation of annual bond disclosure requirements.
-Ensure the annual TIFF calculation is completed by the County, and posted into the system.
-Assist the external auditors with the preparation of the annual Board of County Commissioners, Supervisor of Elections and Countywide Financial Statements. This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing and proofing as necessary.
-Prepare the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) to include the Management Discussion, Analysis and the Letter of Transmittal.
-Prepare the Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR).
-Ensure the year-end financial statements are distributed to applicable agencies
-Submit both the CAFR and the PAFR to the Government Finance Officers Association for review and scoring.
-All other tasks and/or duties required by the Clerk and/or Chief of Operations.
-Must have three (3) to five (5) years of related experience
-Must be able to operate general office equipment, especially a computer
-Must have workable knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook and the
-Must possess workable knowledge of MUNIS, ERP, UASM systems and methodologies.
-Must possess data gather and dissemination skills
